Concert queue to enjoy 'Mike's Delicious Dogs’

Voyager Estate is ensuring that the enjoyment of Leeuwin Estate’s concert series on Saturday 11 February starts in the traffic queue – with ‘Mike’s Delicious Dogs’, cup cakes and Voyager Estate Grape Juice available at Voyager Estate’s main gate from 1pm, along with seating in the shade and live music.

Voyager Estate Cellar Door Manager, Janine Carter, said: “By mid-afternoon, traffic can be banked up along Stevens, Gnarawary and Boodjidup roads so it can be quite a long wait.”

“With the musical ambience created by local musician Morgan Bacskai, gourmet hot dogs using Elmar’s famous sausages and shady seating, we hope that concert goers arrive relaxed and in good spirits for the main event,” Janine said.

The Voyager Estate Wine Room and Restaurant will maintain business as usual and ask concert attendees to avoid parking in gate entrances and to allow adequate space for other vehicles to pass safely.

The idea for the pop-up snack stand came from Voyager Estate’s staff members, who were concerned for drivers’ personal comfort during the long wait.  It's name is inspired by owner Michael Wright.
