VOC Collection Vintage Brut 2006
Winemaker notes

The exceptionally cool growing season in 2006 provided perfect conditions for Voyager Estate to produce a rare sparkling wine. Made using the traditional methode champenoise and utilising a combination of the finest block Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, this VOC Vintage Brut is fine, fresh and textured with tight citrus elements.
 
Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale straw
Nose: The nose shows wonderful fresh lime and lemon pith from the Chardonnay grapes, together with earthy flavours from the Pinot Noir. Three years on yeast lees has provided further complexities of nuts and fresh bread.
Palate: The palate is very delicate and reflects the cool 2006 season. Soft fruit flavours in the citrus spectrum are balanced with fresh lively apple tones. Lees maturation reveals a lovely creamy texture and weight to the palate.
