While Margaret River is known for its near-perfect vintage conditions year in and out, certain vintages come along from time to time that generate a buzz of excitement amongst the region’s winemakers. In years such as these, Voyager Estate winemaker Cliff Royle sources fruit from Voyager Estate’s oldest vines, dating back to 1978, and creates wines for the Voyager Estate Reserve selection.

The range features a 1998 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, 1999 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, 2001 Reserve Semillon Sauvignon Blanc and 2002 Reserve Semillon Sauvignon Blanc. Both the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blend are processed gently in small individual batches with maturation in the best French oak barriques. Produced in extremely limited quantities and made available predominantly to Voyager Estate’s mail order and cellar door customers, these wines offer our valued visitors an exceptional quality matured wine, unique in style and distinctive in character.
