"In the competitive business of wine retailing, we have carved a name for ourselves by recommending wines from producers we believe share our passion for quality. From day one Voyager Estate showed to us that they were going to be a serious Margaret River operation through their commitment to quality from vineyard to cellar door and end product. Voyager Estate have much to be proud of and we are proud to sell their wines."

Chenin Blanc 2005
The cool and dry late summer ripening period in 2005 provided ideal conditions for the production of quality aromatic white wine in Margaret River, some of the best we have seen at Voyager Estate to date. Fresh and vibrant, the 2005 Chenin Blanc is an explosion of fresh fruit with just a touch of sweetness and balanced by crisp acidity. As Jane Faulkner of The Melbourne Age says, whether served with Thai food or slightly chilled on its own, 'this is a very gluggable wine!' Perfect for the coming summer months.
Sauvignon Blanc 2005
Awarding this wine a 94-point rating, James Halliday describes it as 'fresh, precise passionfruit and kiwifruit aromas, then a lively palate in delicious, early picked style.' With all our Sauvignon Blanc fruit from the 2006 vintage being required for our popular Sauvignon Blanc Semillon blend, there was not enough left to make a varietal Sauvignon Blanc. This may be your last chance to get hold of a varietal Sauvignon Blanc from Voyager Estate for some time.
Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2005
'My favourite experience with a Voyager Estate wine was whilst having dinner at a really fantastic Thai restaurant in Melbourne; great company, great food... crap wine list and no BYO. I snuck to the wine store across the road and got a bottle of Voyager Estate 2005 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon and smuggled it in under my jacket then poured the wine into our water glasses under the table all night. Halfway through the bottle the waiter topped up our water glasses with tap water. Nice.'

Watch out for the release of Voyager Estate 2006 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 1 January 2007.
Chardonnay 2004
95 points from James Halliday and 96 points from Jeremy Oliver (named amongst Australia's Top 10 Chardonnays). With the 2005 scheduled for release in January 2007, this is your last chance to put a case of this classic vintage away in your cellar. The last six months have seen it evolve beautifully, retaining all the structure and zing of its youth yet putting on weight in the mid-palate - white peach and nectarine, creamy oak and lovely complexity. This wine is only getting better with age.
Reserve Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2002
Sourced from Voyager Estate's original 28-year-old vines, this 70/30 blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc is barrel-fermented then aged for 8 months in 100% French oak. More complex than its fresh and fruity counterparts from the region, the nose shows aromatic gooseberry and blossom characters with cedary oak nuances. Citrus peel and freshly cut herbs feature on the palate, with an austere structure and natural acidity worthy of further aging.
Girt by Sea Cabernet Merlot 2004
Introduced in March this year, Voyager Estate Girt by Sea Cabernet Merlot has established a reputation for itself as an excellent value Margaret River red from the Voyager Estate range. We couldn't have asked for more than to be nearly sold out 8 months later! Ray Jordan awarded it 4 out of 5 stars for both quality and value, calling it an 'elegant, stylish wine at a good price'. And that is exactly what we set out to produce.
Shiraz 2004
Harvey Steiman, Editor-at-Large for Wine Spectator Magazine, describes this wine as 'bright and juicy, a lively, expansive mouthfeel of jazzy blackberry, cherry and black olive flavours that persist against refined tannins through the finish', and advises that it is cellared for further enjoyment between 2008 and 2012. With the 2005 vintage scheduled for release early next year, if you want to follow Harvey's advice and get some for your cellar, this is your very last chance. Halliday also rated it at 95 points in his 2007 Companion.
Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2003
If you've ever wanted to understand tannin structure at its best, then our 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is a great mentor. Fine, chalky and mouth-filling, the tannins in this wine are exquisitely supple, yet offer all the structure that Margaret River Cabernet is known and loved for. This one lifts the bar. (95-point Halliday rating and only available in screwcap.)
'I'm a Perth girl living in Melbourne, so itís always great to have a bit of 'home' on my wine list. Voyager Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is in my Top 5 Margaret River reds.'
Anne-Marie Banting, Punch Lane Wine Bar, Melbourne
VOC Collection Shiraz 2003
The first release from our new VOC Collection, the 2003 VOC Collection Shiraz offers you the chance to stock your cellar with something unusual from the Voyager Estate vineyards. Sourced from the Estateís oldest shiraz vines, 20 barrels were hand-selected for extended maturation in new and older French oak barriques. The resulting wine, showing blood plums, savoury spices and minerality derived from our gravelly soils, exudes elegance. A worthy and rare addition to your cellar.
